Check Out these Futuristic Luxury Rooms in the Jordanian Desert

I recently became aware of the Wadi Rum Night Luxury Camp, a high-end campsite deep in the heart of Wadi Rum, a Mars-like desert in Jordan which was the filming location for major movies and blockbusters in the past few years.
The transparent bubble-like pods located in the hotel, which apparently launched in 2016, give guests uninterrupted views of the starry skies and the surroundings all while lying comfortably in their beds and protected from the elements.
According to CNN, the pods were designed by French designer Pierre Stéphane Dumas and his company, BubbleTree.
The other type of rooms available is Bedouin themed tents. There is a private bathroom with a bathtub or shower in each unit at the campsite, and guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant or opt for packed lunches.
The bubble-shaped pods are about a 1,000 AED a night which is actually not bad considering the experience. To book a room, visit the camp’s booking.com page.
Have you been to this magical place? What were your thoughts?
